A vessel in which a chemical reaction occurs.
Description
A vessel in which a chemical reaction takes place, designed to maximize reaction conversion and selectivity with the lowest possible cost and time, and optimal efficiency.
This vessel is designed for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, ensuring the appropriate contact type or flow mode of reactants inside the vessel to achieve a desired mixture with the reacting materials.
In addition to providing sufficient contact time between substances and the catalyst to achieve the desired reaction extent, it allows for pressure, temperature, and composition conditions so that the reaction occurs at the desired degree and speed, considering the thermodynamic and kinetic aspects of the reaction.
Agitation of the contents is essential, as the internal flow must be in constant circulation to produce a uniform mixture.
