Herpasa builds fully automated vinegar filling and packaging line in Senegal

Herpasa is currently manufacturing the machinery and elements necessary for a vinegar filling and packaging line that is scheduled to start up in the first quarter of 2021.

The vinegar is obtained from the bacterial fermentation of ethyl alcohol. Vinegar is edible, but it can also be used for cleaning or disinfectant purposes.

Vinegar is a multipurpose ecological product. Beyond its use in salads or as a preservative, it can be used as a cleaning product for bathrooms, toilets, fridges, kitchens, windows, coffee machines, among others. It is often diluted in water and can be used cold or hot for greater efficiency.

The packaging line manufactured by Herpasa will fill 5000BPH (bottles per hour) in bottle formats ranging from 250ml to 1000ml.

The process starts with a blowing machine that makes the bottles to be filled.

Once the bottles are manufactured, the automatic filling process begins, which is controlled by a PLC.

This project is part of the packaging systems business line developed by HERPASA to offer its customers complete engineering, manufacturing, and packaging solutions for their products.
