Self-emptying Tanks

Self-emptying tanks are used for the fermentation of red wines, with the advantage that the remains of the fermented wort can be removed very easily.

Herpasa’s self-emptying tank features an emptying mechanism, either hydraulic or electric; and cooling or heating chambers, depending on the cooling surface required by each tank.

It is manufactured in different diameters, depending on the customer’s needs.

• The thickness will be determined by the design code used (AD Merkblätter, API, CODAP, etc.), and the tank dimensions.
• The accessories may vary according to the use of the tank and the product to be stored in it. In addition to common accessories, we have specific accessories for the self-emptying tanks as detachable drain grille for cleaning and maintenance.
