Buffer Tanks

Tanks used in refrigeration circuits

Description

Buffer tanks are used for refrigeration circuits in all types of facilities to make the link between the cold equipment and the cooling chambers of the tanks.

They are used to store a sufficient amount of glycol water to keep the facility cool during the lapses of the cooling equipment, allowing it not to be put back into operation immediately, thus reducing the frequency of starts and stops of the machine, which promotes energy savings and less wear and tear.

Characteristics

  • Diameters can be customised and can vary between 650 - 4,500 mm.
  • The buffer tank length will vary depending on the number of wall rings and its dimensions (1,000 - 1,250 - 1,500 mm).
